PLOT: University student Bet, frustrated by her own delusion of weakness, erupts after a staggering incident.
LOOKING FOR 4 ROLES.
Bet (lead) – 18-23 – A student struggling with her lack of control over her life and her relationships. After being assaulted, she turns to violence to assert herself. She’s introverted, decisive, analytical, selfish, vindictive. Looking for someone who can look both sympathetic and dangerous. *Helps if you are comfortable touching a spider.*
Leah – 18-23 – Leah is Bet’s roommate. Leah is extroverted and feminine. She is someone who came from a good home, fits comfortably in the popular crowd and focuses all her energy on her social status. Leah doesn’t see value in pursuing a friendship with Bet, resulting in their dull relationship. *There is a scene where Leah is dressing briefly but she is wearing undergarments.*
Kat – 20-25 – Kat is just slightly older than Bet and Leah and, as such, sees herself as infinitely wiser and experienced. She draws Leah in with her confidence but pushes Bet away with her self righteousness. Kat acts as the antithesis to Bet- someone is effortlessly in control at all times.
Alden – 18-23 – Alden is in school with Bet and Leah, and is living out his best years as a frat boy. He is simple, immature and easily distracted, dating Leah one second and someone else the next.
