CASTING CALL: Ryerson 2nd Year Short Film:***We will be casting in the next week and a half***
Synopsis: A father and daughter quarrel as the tension of their fractured relationship rises. Hannah is being pressured by her absent minded father to work for his successful company but the offer leaves her reflecting who she really is and what she wants for herself. Her intuition leaves an ultimatum between Hannah’s father and herself, bringing their relationship to a climax of pressure.
DAVID (53):
David is an extremely successful business man who wants his daughter to mirror his accomplishments. A heavy, one track suit and tie mind set leaves little room for David to listen to his daughter. His absent mindedness creates stubborn rhetoric and removed perception. This character does not strictly have to be a man, it is open to anyone interested.
All positions are unpaid. Food and transportation will be provided along with any other cost that needs to be covered. A final version will be available for any cast member.
