Project Synopsis
Angela, a fresh faced acting major in New York, interviews a notorious classmate and womanizer for her class project. Through the course of one night, he changes her perspective on relationships and masculinity, all while hiding his true intentions. This is the premier production for Neon Theatrical.
Character Breakdown
Angela – Female. Late teens. A Canadian sophomore studying theatre in New York. Pretty in an unassuming way, but lacks the experience and confidence to defend herself from a threat. Empathetic towards the secretly broken and possesses a heightened curiosity driven by deep seeded loneliness. Anxious.
Bill – Male. Early 20’s. Angela’s friend, classmate, and unrequited love. Unconventional “boy next door” with an innocent smile and a habit of cracking quippy jokes at inappropriate times. He protects himself from a recent traumatic incident by focusing on his friends troubles instead. Drowning.
Thomas – Male. Late 20’s to early 30’s. A freshman who started college later in life. Possesses superhuman charisma, ambition, and good looks that have tricked many women before, but isolates his true soul out of fear of rejection. Has an addiction for manipulation he is highly ashamed of, but has the intelligence to back it up. Broken.
Leo – Male. 20’s. Thomas’s only male friend and fellow freshman. The stoner in every horror film with a lanky stature and a ponytail. Misguided, but kind, and fiercely protective of the weak. Fully aware of Thomas’s true nature and despises him for it. Tense.

Rehearsal hours to be determined by final casts needs. Expect 4+ rehearsals a week from 6pm to 9pm once schedule has been finalized.
