Concept: This is a short film for a major label artist to be broadcasted on CBC. It follows two lovers who are on the run trying to escape love, a mystical entity trying to kill them.
Roles:
Woman (Black or Latino) 20-35
Speaking Spanish is not required. Driver’s license is an asset (please specify the class)
A Woman seeking to escape an ill-fate with her lover.
She is enamoured by her lover and scared of losing him if Love catches up to them.
Man (Black or Latino) 20-35
Speaking Spanish is not required. Driver’s license is an asset (please specify the class)
Man fighting against the odds by attempting to flee with his lover. Strong-willed lover willing to fight untill the end for his lover.
Love (open ethnicitiy female) 20-35
An otherworldly entity, known as Love, seeking to kill our star-crossed lovers. As a mystical being, it is able to track down the couple and recognizes that they cannot escape
their unfortunate ending. This character communicates through movements.
Physical acting plus dance experience is an asset.
There will be minimal dialogue. Man and Woman must be comfortable being in the car together (windows down).
Shooting will be outside.

Rates:
Man and Woman will be compensated 150$ flat rate for one day shoot.
Love will be compensated 100$ flat rate for one day shoot.
All shooting will take place on August 20 with fitting on August 18.
COVID-19 safety on set protocol:
Please note that you will be required to have a Covid-19 test prior to shoot.
Shooting will take place outside, and all personnel will maintain 6ft distance whenever possible.
PPE will be provided and required on set, including masks, gloves and face shields.
Production will be following all Covid-19 shooting guidelines outlined by Toronto Film Board.
