SHOOT LOCATION: Actors own location, shot remotely using equipment provide by the DGC.
STORYLINE:
The promotion video is an award show parody intended to promote the upcoming Directors Guild of Canada’s 19th Annual DGC Awards to be held online format. The video begins with stock footage of glamourous award galas cutting to a bearded man-eating cereal with milk dribbling down his chin as he stares straight into the camera. Text will be added in post as this is not a speaking role. The second actor dressed as a server enters with a bottle, serves champagne as the bearded man lifts his glass.
ROLES:
No audition or self tape required. Headshots (with beard) and CV will suffice. Ideally, seeking two actors who can shoot together in their own location. Equipment will be provided and controlled remotely with modest-to-minimal setup required.
BEARDED MAN – MALE – AGE 25-45
Actor must have a beard that is large enough to show the milk dribble and a confident stare.
SERVER – MALE OR FEMALE – AGE 25-55
Ideally, server should have access dress blacks or server’s uniform.
