This is a paid casting call for a French language short film to be shot in Toronto on September 16th and 17th. The production is open to both union and non-union actors.
The role of the Ballerina is for an actress aged between 30 and 45 years old.
She is the mother of the main character Billie (7 years old). She is a mysterious and caring presence in her daughter’s imaginary world. The ballerina has one dialogue scene and must have prior experience with ballet.
In order to reflect the multicultural reality of the Francophonie, actors of various ancestries and identities are strongly encouraged to submit their applications.
