Gal Gadot, the star of the hit movie “Wonder Woman”, has revealed that she was considered for the lead role in the upcoming “Barbie” movie. In a recent interview with Flaunt magazine, Gadot praised Margot Robbie, who ultimately played the title role and was also a producer on the film.
“I adore Margot,” Gadot said. “She’s a great actress and a great producer. She was the one who wanted me for the role of Barbie.”
Robbie, who is also known for her roles in “Suicide Squad” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, has been a vocal supporter of Gadot’s work. She has previously praised Gadot’s performance in “Wonder Woman” and has said that she was inspired by Gadot’s portrayal of the iconic superhero.
Robbie’s decision to cast Gadot in the role of Barbie was ultimately overruled by the studio, but it is clear that Robbie was a big fan of Gadot’s work.
