Quantum Leap is adding some new faces for its upcoming second season. Eliza Taylor (The 100) and Peter Gadiot (Yellowjackets, One Piece) have been cast as series regulars, TVLine has learned.
Taylor will play Hannah Carson, a mysterious young woman who may be more than she appears. Gadiot will portray her brother, Max, a charming and ambitious young man who is determined to make his mark on the world.
The two join the show’s returning cast, which includes Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett, Dean Stockwell as Al Calavicci, and C.J. Wilson as Dr. Donna Beckett.
The new season of Quantum Leap will follow Sam and Al as they continue their mission to help people in need. The show will also explore the relationship between Sam and Al, as well as the mysterious Hannah and Max.
The first look at Taylor and Gadiot in their new roles was released on Wednesday, Oct. 4. The new season of Quantum Leap premieres on NBC at 8/7c.
