EXCLUSIVE: Saturday Night Live is set to return for its 49th season with a star-studded lineup of hosts and a new cast member.
The long-running sketch comedy show, created by Lorne Michaels, will feature a mix of familiar faces and new talent. Pete Davidson, Bad Bunny, and Chloe Troast are among the hosts for the upcoming season.
The entire cast from the end of Season 48 will be returning for Season 49, including Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Aidy Bryant, and Cecily Strong. Joining them will be newcomer Chloe Troast, who is making her SNL debut.
The show has also received the blessing of SAG-AFTRA, the union that represents actors and other performers. This is a major step forward for the show, which has been on hiatus since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
SNL has been a staple of American television since its debut in 1975, and the show has featured some of the biggest names in comedy, including Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrell, and Tina Fey.
The upcoming season is sure to be filled with laughs, and fans can look forward to seeing some of their favorite performers back on the
