Krista Allen, who joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful two years ago as a recast for Hunter Tylo as Taylor Hayes, has been let go from the show.
Allen revealed the news to Deadline, saying, “The craziest thing is right before I got dropped, I did the cast photo shoot, and then the next week they said, ‘We’re going in a different direction.’”
Allen, who has appeared in numerous television shows and films, including Baywatch, Two and a Half Men, and Anger Management, said she was “shocked” by the news.
“I was so excited to be part of the show,” she said. “I was so excited to be part of the Taylor Hayes story. I was so excited to be part of the Bold and the Beautiful family.”
Allen said she was grateful for the opportunity to work with the show’s cast and crew, and that she was “so proud” of the work she did on the show.
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the show,” she said.
