Casting Background Actors – ACTRA IPA Rate

Prodigal Father, a production in Toronto, is seeking actors in their 20s to portray medical students in the 1800s. The casting is open to both ACTRA and non-union actors, with tentative dates scheduled for March 11 and 12. ACTRA actors will receive regular background rates, while non-union actors will be paid $16.55 per hour with an 8-hour minimum per day. Applicants must have natural hair colors and a minimum hair length of 2-3 inches all around. They must also be willing to adjust their hair length as needed for creative direction. Clean-shaven or existing facial hair is acceptable. Current selfies, including photos of hair and facial hair, along with full-length and head-to-chest photos, must be submitted by the March 11, 2022 deadline.
