Casting a Male Amputee with an above the knee right leg amputation to play Canada’s Hero Terry Fox for a Terry Fox Foundation Campaign.
This is filming in Toronto but we are open to anyone from Canada and the US to apply. Travel and accommodation will be provided if someone does not live near Toronto.
This is a demonstrator role, talent will not be recognizable. With the help of movie magic, they will transform you into the legend. We want to match you as closely as possible with the same right leg, above the knee limb difference. Terry Fox was around 5 ’10” and he had an athletic build, please see our reference pics attached. This role requires running on a vintage prosthetic.
We will require you to upload actual video footage of you jogging on your application form.
Compensation for this role: $7,500.00 ( CDN$ ) if selected. This is a non union campaign. Talent may be required to travel to Toronto prior to the shoot to try on a replica prosthetic.

Must be available for these Important dates:
-Wardrobe: June 17 or 18, 2024. In Toronto.
-Shoot Dates: June 26 and 27 in Toronto. (2 days)
Travel dates if talent live outside of the Toronto/Ontario area.
-Arrive in Toronto: June 17/18, 2024.
-Depart Toronto: June 28, 2024.
