Audition Notice
Allens Lane is a non-union theater
Directed by Scott R. Grumling (Rasheeda Speaking, By The Water) and T. Patrick Ryan (WTC View)
Characters (2M, 4F; Ages 30-45 – will play numerous roles)
Audition Dates: by appointment only; walk-ins will be seen as time permits; Sunday, November 4th 6:30 PM–9:30 PM; Saturday, November 10th 10:00 AM–1:00 PM; Sunday, November 11th 6:30 PM–9:30 PM.
Show Dates (9): March 1-2, 8-9, 15-16 at 8:00 PM; March 3, 10, and 17 at 2:00 PM.
Audition Format: Those auditioning should perform two one minute contrasting monologues that demonstrate your ability to portray different characters. In addition, all actors will be asked to sing a simple, short a cappella song of your choice (e.g. “Amazing Grace”, “Happy Birthday”, etc.).
Audition Location: Allens Lane Theater, 601 West Allens Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19119.
Male and female actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to submit. We would like to cast a multi-ethnic group of actors to mirror the Philadelphia local community.
Within the multi-ethnic cast we are specifically looking for one female Hispanic/Latina actress and one actress, any ethnicity, who can perform an Australian accent.
Pay: stipend will be paid at the end of the run.
