Casting a 48 Hour Film Project short film. The 48 Hour Film Project is a four- to seven-minute film conceived, filmed, and edited over the course of one weekend. Because of the nature of the 48 Hour Film Project, the subject matter, genre, and character descriptions cannot be determined until the 48 hours begin. Because of this, the casting and writing process will happen concurrently, so casting personnel is currently looking for all types. The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2019 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2019 Short Film Corner.
