Freezing in the winter to keep hydro bills down? “Golden Girls” agreement instead of living in retirement homes? Working 3 jobs to pay for an apartment you hardly use? Attended hundreds of showings only to lose out on rental bidding wars?
We asked Torontonians to share their most outrageous housing stories they endured in order to keep rent costs down. These stories will be used to help build awareness of and encourage participation in the policy development process for inclusionary zoning.
