Be a Host on Clapit & Get a Role in a Web Series

Clapit is the talent discovery app that removes the barriers between actors and Hollywood decision makers. The winner of the #clapithost3 open call will become a presenter on clapit and will receive a speaking role in an episode of “The Meeting,” a web series by producer Howard Nash and director Russ Emanuel.

The winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to New York for the shoot. Only people ages 13+ who are legal residents of the USA or New South Wales, Australia are eligible to enter. Actors can be union or non-union and will receive credit in the webisode and on IMDb, plus a copy of the completed project. Pay is available for union actors under the SAG New Media agreement. Improvise an audition video based on one of the following options:

Option 1: You have fallen madly in love with your best friend of the opposite sex, and you confront them about how you feel.

Option 2: Your best friend confronts you and declares they are in love with you, but you don't feel the same way.

Option 3: Your best friend tells you he/she is in love with your sister, to whom they have not spoken in a while.


1. Download clapit from the iTunes App Store.

2. Between October 30 - November 14, 2017, post one 20-second video audition onto clapit. Be sure to write #clapithost3, your country of legal residence (USA or NSW, Australia) & the character breakdown option that you chose (Option 1, 2 or 3) in your post.

3. Invite your family, friends & fans over text, email & social media to download clapit and “clap” (vote) for your performance.

4. Clapit co-founders Mary Jane Bulseco and PJ Bedwell will choose the winner from the top 5 most clapped auditions.
