We are looking to cast two lead actors one female, and one male to play the roles of ALICE and OSCAR, and two supporting actresses to play LUCY and MARIA.

Additional Information (Character Profiles):
 
ALICE: woman in her early 40s, gentle look, medium build, clean face, fair hair, green eyes. After the high school, she started working like an assistant in a little art gallery. She married early and for love with her husband, Oscar, whom she is in a high dependency relationship. She neglected her social life for a stable domestic relationship. After a serious accident that forced her husband in a vegetative state, she dedicated the most of her time to take care of him. She still doesn’t have much of a social life, but she would like to take on dancing or yoga classes, and dedicate herself to pursue her artistic ambitions, left aside for so many years.[/justify]
OSCAR: man in his early 40s, dark eyes and hair, strong and lean build, with wide shoulders that betray a sportive past (swimming, gym). Quite rational e decisive as a character, after finishing high school he enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, completing his studies on time and with high marks. Married young with Alice, a beautiful woman slightly younger than him, he always took obsessive care of all the details of their life together, making his wife completely depending on his will and financial stability. A serious accident forced him in a vegetative state, on a wheelchair, totally dependent on her cares and the nurses sent from a cooperative. From his stern gaze is impossible to guess if and how he senses the reality of what’s around him. [/justify]
LUCY: nurse in her 50s, brown eyes and hair, sweet face and gentle manners, married to a doctor and mother of two sons, one affected by Down syndrome. After getting her degree as a professional nurse, she worked in a care home for ten years, until the birth of her second son, disable, in need of more care. She then found a part-time job in a cooperative that deals with home assistance. She knows Alice because she took care of her mother during the last years of her life, and she starts taking care of Oscar, with other colleagues from the same cooperative, as soon as he’s back from the hospital after the accident. She has just become the new manager of her team, and she takes great care of the people she hires for the cooperative.[/justify]
MARIA: a very young nurse, 25 years, fresh from university and eager to get professional experience. Enrolled in Medicine with the goal to specialise in Psychiatry, she has just been hired from the cooperative Lucy works for. Smart, sociable and decisive, she feels unsettled from her first encounter with Oscar, whose eyes, in her opinion, try to speak the words his mouth can’t anymore. [/justify]
