Casting for paid lead roles in feature film shooting in Montreal, British Columbia, and California from July 20 to Aug 6.
Both roles are BAME with preference given to actors with Hispanic background.
Mary (BAME, 20-25):
Mary, a first-generation American go-getter, is 2019’s girl next door without the confidence to accept praise. Her openness, curiosity, and wit accompany her Achilles’ heel to fall for the guy that needs fixing. She’s haunted by the weakening pulse of the American Dream and is directing a documentary to see if she can still feel it.
Katherine (BAME, 20-25):
As Mary’s best friend and self-proclaimed protector, Katherine appears more confident and self-assured than the other characters. She has strong opinions and is not afraid to express them. Her natural skepticism allows her to see through other people’s bullshit more quickly than most.
