We’re looking for the two leads as well as the supporting roles for an upcoming indie film. Ideally, we are looking for leads that are willing to be more than just actors, and will be fully dedicated to this project and want to see it through. most roles will be paid but we will be working on a limited budget, so everyone involved will need to have an indie spirit!
The basic story is about a waitress in a diner who discovers that everything is not as it seems and that there’s something mystical going on at the diner.
The two leads are:
Rhonda: A waitress in a diner and single mom. Late 20s-30s. Any race.
Walter: A regular customer in the diner with a rough exterior. He’s always writing. 50s or older. Overweight.
supporting roles include:
Brock: The owner’s son and the diner’s cook. Slightly full of himself. In his 20s.
Suzie: The other waitress at the diner. Tough as nails. 40s-50s.
Brie and Rosie: Rhonda’s kids. Age range 5-12. Ideally two kids who already know each other and work well together.
Noah: a police officer who Suzie takes a liking to. 30s-40s
Brenda: Rhonda’s mother. 50s-60s
Anyone not cast in a main role may be recruited as an extra.
