This is a Ngee Ann Polytechnic student short film project. Our film is about a teenager who, under the parents’ expectations and pressures, succumbs to cheating in an exam.
LOOKING FOR
1) Alex (*Name subject to change)
Age range: 13-18 years old
Hardworking but always falls short. Alex is an easy-going character.
2) Sam (*Name subject to change)
Age range: 13-18 years old
Sam is Alex’s best friend who always motivates Alex. Sam is a humble over-achiever.
3) Nina (Alex’s Mother) (*Name subject to change)
Age range: late 30s-40s
Nina is a doting mother who has a different way of showing her love for Alex. Nina is very strict and is constantly worrying about Alex’s future.
4) Swee Bee (Alex’s Father) (*Name subject to change)
Age range: late 30s-40s
Swee Bee is a doting father. Unlike Nina, he is very lenient but has a resigned attitude toward’s Alex’s grades.
5) Teacher
Age range: 20s-30s
