Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel. Meals and beverages will be provided on shoot days. TTC tickets/fare can be provided.
CHARACTERS:
(Lead) Sharon- Female 18 – 22 (5 Shoot Days)
Ethnicity: Guyanese, West Indian, or Caribbean.
A confident high school senior who works hard towards being a journalist, but feels constantly degraded and like there’s no hope to break out of her neighbourhood. Fiery and unapologetic, Sharon creates her own social platforms to talk about issues in their community.
(Principal) Roshan Male 35 – 55 (1 Shoot Day Only)
Ethnicity: Guyanese, West Indian, or Caribbean.
Sharon’s dismissive dad who works overtime in minimum wage in order to provide for his family.
(Actor) Ana- Female – 20-25 (1 Shoot Day Only)
Ethnicity: Guyanese, West Indian or Caribbean. Sharon’s older sister who loves to have fun and finds her sister uptight.
