Storyline: Black Pearl is a short film that captures a brief moment in time between two people who share a long history and who know more than anyone the value of each precious moment of life. Julia, has been in hiding, fleeing the life of an international secret agent, and emerges for one last job despite having vowed to walk away forever. Waiting in a tavern in Turkey, she is the one caught by surprise when she finds herself face to face with Carlos, her former love and fellow agent, who has set her up to steal one last precious moment with Julia and question the worth of her choices. They dance a Tango, reliving memories of their past life together in Buenos Aires, stopping time momentarily, before they are catapulted back into reality for a dramatic final reunion and a last chance to make the right choice.
