Award-winning composer, producer, and choreographer Tova Kardonne assembles Toronto actors to perform in a music video for her forthcoming album.

Casting for the Music Video "Borders of One". A group of women friends who have lost touch reunite when a new community concern brings them together to organize a protest. Actors will be interacting with animatronic birds, as well as improvising with the other actors.

Non-union
Paid: $120/day
3 days: 1 full-day paid rehearsal/workshop 10 am-6pm March 17 2020, 2 days shooting 9:30am-6pm March 18-19 2020, in downtown Toronto, ON. MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL 3 DAYS.

Roles:
Agitator/Inspirer - 20s woman, any ethnicity
extroverted, funny, passionate, somewhat oblivious to boundaries

Cautioner/ Double-checker - 30s woman, any ethnicity
introverted, observant, takes a long time to decide, uncomfortable with touch, soft-spoken

Elder/perspective-taker - 60s Black or mixed ethnicity woman
warm, witty, authoritative, superstitious, secretly reckless

Conciliator/emotional glue - 50s white woman
caring, few convictions, graceful, hospitable, accepting

Rules-and-regs-checker/planner - 20s Black woman
nosy, organized, practical, articulate, likes to make lists

Space cadet/spiritual influence - 40s woman, any ethnicity
Tactless, clumsy, insightful, pithy, sensual, enthused to do right

Consolidator/leader - 30s woman, any ethnicity
Listener, athletic, unruffled, extra curious about others' perspectives
