“George” is a heartwarming (and often times hilarious in its honesty) short film where a quirky young woman babysits a charismatic, precocious boy who unknowingly teaches her a beautiful lesson about perspective and self love.
[GEORGE] Male, 7-10 years old, any ethnicity. A happy, imaginative, precocious boy who is charismatic and wise beyond his years. A little performer and charmer, George is a true showman who loves sports, colouring, singing and dancing, and has a close-knit relationship with his long-time baby-sitter, Jess. George and Jess are each other’s equals, and very much two unlikely peas in a pod. George lights up any room he’s in, and although he is a confident, independent young boy – and a genuine old soul — he still very much glimmers of childhood innocence. Dance training not required (but can be an asset), but child must be comfortable with a short, fun dance scene.
