Claire, found her destitute after the sudden death of her husband. Eight months pregnant she was forced to enter the Magdalene Laundry. Claire is a diarist who often reads passages to her fellow penitents to help lighten their day. She is a bright light in a dark place.
Actors, must be comfortable with an Irish accent. Equity and non-equity welcome.
This play is being produced as an Equity Artists’ Collective. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Jan 4th to Jan 22nd. Performance at Vancity Culture Lab, Jan 26th. to Feb 6 2022.
