Synopsis: Timid single father Joseph leads an unenviable and mundane life. He receives news that his identical brother Mark has passed away. Joseph obtains a key to his late brother’s apartment. When arriving there Joseph encounters two criminals that mistake him for Mark, who owes these crooks a large sum of money.
We are looking for a lead actor.
Charator breakdown: Joseph Dimmick: 50 years old, a mild mannered man. Joseph goes through life unnoticed and is very unremarkable. He is a single father raising his son Thomas. He has very few memories of his identical brother Mark, but the one thing he remembers is that Mark was the cool guy at school. When Joseph would get mistaken for his brother he would just play along so he could be admired for a day. In his office he is emasculated by a younger intern who bullies him and in his home Joseph has sexual feelings towards his son’s babysitter.
The film is a low budget so we will not be able to pay. Food will be provided and transportation costs will be covered (subway).
