Samantha (Sam, 20’s) is a stay at home poetess. She is egoistic, stubborn, blunt and can be a bit obnoxious. She is oblivious to the fact that she can come off harsh and once she realizes she might have said something wrong she feels guilty. Despite her strong personality she does have a soft spot for her girlfriend Claire. Her drinking habits are making her emotionless day by day.
Claire (20’s) is a waitress who works long shifts. She is a homemaker, she is very caring and passionate. She has never had a family which makes her want one of her own. She is concerned about Samantha’s health.
