I work with the Taste of the Danforth, Canada’s largest street festival, which runs from August 11th-13th. This year, in promotion of 20th Century Fox’s Murder on the Orient Express, we’ve designed an interactive murder mystery game for our attendees to participate in.
I’m searching for 4 performers (2 male, 2 female) who would like to play suspects in our mystery.
While we are unable to pay our performers they would be invited to appear on our media round robin, which we use to promote the festival on channels such as CP24 and CTV. Performers would be welcome at our VIP Launch Party and Hospitality Lounge, and we would be happy to cover all food and travel expenses. The true value of this opportunity is being able to say you worked in the promotion of a $100 million 20th Century Fox film.
The festival runs a collective 28 hours between August 11 and 13. We would require performers to be present for the following hours:
Friday, Aug 11: 6:00pm – 12:00am
Saturday, Aug 12: 12:00pm – 12:00am
Sunday, Aug 12: 12:00pm – 10:00pm
No rehearsal time is anticipated.
If performers would not be available for the entirety of the festival, they are welcome to reach out, but candidates will be selected on the basis of their experience and availability. I think this is a great and FUN opportunity to participate in the promotion of a 20th Century Fox Hollywood blockbuster.
