Hello, we’re a group of Final Year students from Temasek Polytechnic Singapore who is currently in the development/pre-production stages of our Final Year Project titled ‘Pretty When I Cry’
The synopsis for our story can be found below:
PRETTY WHEN I CRY is a psychological drama about Irene, a sister-manager of a social media influencer, and her descent into madness due to jealousy and greed. The story begins with Irene reporting the disappearance of her sister, Venus, to the police. Through past social media posts, we discover that Venus has been gaining popularity with a series of dares with the last being the murder of her rival. Irene riddles with guilt as she recalls the truth behind those acts. She has been using Venus to gratify her own need for popularity. As Venus’ follower count dwindles, Irene searches for her missing sister to gain public support.
‘PRETTY WHEN I CRY’ will be screened at Temasek Polytechnic’s Design Show 2020 in collaboration with Singapore Design Week in March 2020.
