Synopsis Leni is a resilient woman living abroad in 1992. She uses movement to her navigate through the conflicting feelings about leaving her family behind in Ireland. But in order to let go of the past she must find acceptance and forgiveness within herself.

Nyla is Leni’s girlfriend, a drummer in an all female rock band, she exudes confidence and is comfortable in her own skin. They met at one of her gigs in downtown Toronto where the two women bonded over their passion for music as an outlet.
In contrast to Leni’s reclusiveness, Nyla is an emotionally available and communicative person, she’s a true extrovert. Nyla is the type of person who people are drawn to, she’s light, full of energy and emotion. She isn’t afraid to feel.
