Project Description:
A short play selected as part of the Think Fast One-Act Festival at the Burgdorff Center for the Arts in Maplewood, NJ. Performs February 21 and 22 at 8PM; February 23 at 2PM with award presentation to follow directly afterward. Rehearsals: February 15 through the 20th. Tech in Maplewood on Wednesday, February 19, time to be announced.

THE OLDER MAN | Male | African-American, Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic | Age: 55 – 60 | Role Type: Leading
Actor must look older than his years, as the character is actually in his upper 70s. Earnest, straightforward type on a quest who can get worked up when things aren’t going well. Will try any tactic to his cause.
THE LIBRARIAN | Female | Hispanic | Age: 25 – 55 | Role Type: Leading
Prefer mid-20s to early 50s. She curates the Library at the University of Sao Paolo in Brazil. A matron, a stickler, no-nonsense but can be moved by circumstances without giving it away. Actor must have strong sense of comedy, comedic timing, and physical expressiveness.
