Synopsis: “Squirm” is a short horror/gore film about Jay Popper, a middle aged man battling obesity. One evening after a particularly indulgent meal, Jay discovers something disgusting growing on his neck. Unknown to Jay, his wife Molly Popper, has given him a tapeworm in an attempt to help him shed the pounds. Unfortunately for Jay, this worm is really hungry.
Jay Popper (Gender: Male) (Age 40-65)
Jay is an overindulgent husband with a passive attitude towards self care and health. He’s not very affectionate to his wife, and would be happy spending his days on the couch in front of the television.
Molly Popper (Gender: Female) (Age 40-65)
Molly seems like a loving and caring wife who wants the best for her husband, but behind it all she’s a pathological manipulator who’s obsessed with perfection. She is cunning, charming, and will do anything to shape her husband into the man she wants.
