Anna Dueck | Dancer from Vancouver, BC, Canada Born in Calgary, AB, Anna recently graduated from the School for the Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University with a BFA in Dance. Growing up, she trained in multiple styles at an extensive arts program in her high school and for 10 years as a competitive dancer in jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, pointe and hip hop. She currently is the Co-Producer of Inspire Dance TV and VP in training of GB Media with J. Alex and Sarah Brinson, going into her second year as the Assistant Producer with The Dance Centre and assistant to Ralph Escamillan, a Vancouver contemporary and voguing artist. ​ She is a contemporary dance instructor at iDance Studios, Baza Dance Studios and a dance teacher at Renfrew Park Community Centre. Her performance repertoire includes working with Crystal Pite, Gioconda Barbuto, Rob Kitsos, Amber Funk Barton, and most recently as a Rehearsal Director with Heather Myers, Judith Garay and Sarah Chase. She will be performing in November in Shattered Pieces with Collabart Creations. Anna has a passion for dance because of the mental and physical benefits it provides for everyone. Using athleticism and artistry, the two combine to create moments expressing emotion, creativity and passion.
