Keegan Vaillancourt | Actor from Toronto, ON, Canada A typical dream for a typical small city boy; Keegan born and raised in Sarnia On, has always been the one to giggle his way into making a cheesy grin come right across your face. Keegan was raised by his mother and two sisters; one younger and one older. Being the middle child, he always felt it necessary to make himself stand out in a crowd. It never really mattered who you were, if you would talk, he would listen and respond to the best of his abilities; the "no talking to strangers" rule never really applied to him. Keegan found a love for acting while people watching. In the beginning, it was a simple mimic of someone's laugh, but it soon turned into loving the idea of playing someone totally different than who he really was. Granted, his mother had to hold him back and tell him that sometimes people could find it rude, but regardless, Keegan found it almost fascinating and couldn't resist the temptation of playing a 50 year old man that was sitting next to him on the park bench, an Ice Cream man giving away free samples, and even the Old Woman sitting next to him on the city bus. By the age of 16, Keegan was convinced to enroll in acting class at his high school. There, he had the opportunity to shine in roles like Scarecrow in "The Wiz", and Donny Osmond in "Lost In The 60's". Now being a graduate of the Acting for Film and Television Program at Niagara College, Keegan has found his new love of living life fuller and experiencing opportunities that come his way. Best known for his leading roles in "Vagabond" and "Moving On", Keegan has been able to break past the resistances he once had and is now able to feel what it is like to be, well, a kid again. After all, as said by Paul Newman, "To be an actor, you have to be a child".
