Jacqueline Caruana | Actor from New York, NY, USA Native New Yorker, soprano Jacqueline D. Caruana, has been singing since the age of 4. Growing up in her family’s music studio exposed her to a variety of musical styles and introduced her to the wonders of performing. In high school, Jacqueline first explored musical theatre, choral music and band. Finding her niche with musical theatre, she went on to perform leading roles during and after high school. At the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, Jacqueline began studying with Roz Woll and performed in many great works such as Poulenc’s Dialogue of the Carmelites and Leonard Bernstein’s Mass. After graduating with her B.A. in Music Education, Jacqueline established the Performing Arts program at Middle Village Preparatory Charter School. In addition to teaching Performing Arts full time, she is working towards her M.A. in Vocal Performance at Hunter College where she studies with Susan Gonzalez and just made her solo opera debut as IT in Fireworks!
