United Players Theatre / Barb Scarpino | Casting Director from Toronto, ON, Canada A small community theatre group formed 26 years ago. Recently resurrected. Responsible for raising thousands of dollars for local communities. One play was televised for two years as an outreach to teenagers, with hotline numbers at end of play to aide young people in getting help if they identified with any of the characters. Created original play and had it enacted for Scarborough's bi-centennial celebration with people flying in from all over the world watching it; received newspaper coverage, and wrote and performed plays for colleges and churches.
