Tannia Laracuente | Actor from Miami, FL, USA Tannia Laracuente was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. She later moved to Miami, Florida a week after graduating college. Tannia is a performing and recording artist, a classically trained musician in operatic and piano studies, a teacher and a mother of two girls. She founded Kendall Music Studios, a music academy teaching private and group lessons in music instruments and music theory in 2008. She was previously the owner of Coral Gables Productions, former Director of the Music Academy of Coral Gables, Yamaha Concert Hall Director and a TV Spanish Network Reality Series Vocal Coach.nTannia has over 20 years of teaching and music and acting experience. When Tannia is not involved in an acting project, she devotes her time instructing music and drama to children with Special Needs and contributes with Master Classes into local Magnet School Programs. She is also a Judge-In-Residence for magnet school entering exams. Tannia has also served as a guest Judge for different Vocal Competitions like Objetivo Fama by Univision Network, Primer Festival de la Cancion, Primer Festival Karaoke, and the reality show Yo Canto produced by NBC Telemundo Network, Puerto Rico. Tannia is a Cum Laude graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, with a Major in Drama and a Minor in Music in 2003. She also attended the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico taking piano and classical-vocal studies. She also received an Honoris Causa Certificate from Nafa & Unpam University in 2007 for her dedicated work with the KS Children's Choir and maintaining a prestigious institution. ​
