Hello! My name is Nikol. I am directing and producing a short film “Kill Me With Love”, a modern-day drama about an abusive relationship between two women.
We are looking for actresses for these two characters:
Kamila (acting age 19-25)
Kamila was born in a small town to a conservative and homophobic family. She met Yara online and moved in with her to the city once she reached the common age. Yara’s love for Kamila quickly turned into excessive control, which set them onto the same emotional rollercoaster Kamila experienced with her parents when growing up. Yet, Kamila holds on to the happy moments in their relationship struggling to find the courage to leave. Kamila looks traditional and humble. She tries to find a job to become less emotionally and financially dependent on Yara.
Yara (acting age 26-36)
Yara likes to keep things under control and takes charge whenever she can. Ambitious and efficient at work, she knows how to talk to people to get what she wants. She loves Kamila but is very emotional and tries to control her as she does with other aspects of her life.
We are open to different appearances; acting experience is not necessary. Preferably a native English speaker.
The shooting will take place on March 10 and 11 (preliminary dates) in Berlin.
The film is low budget; the compensation is 120 euro per day.
