US producer and director planning to shoot short film in Berlin to begin shooting in middle of April. It is a modern day version of Dante’s Inferno told in the setting of a young Italian couple (Dante and Beatrice) who get lost in a multi-level Berlin nightclub in the year 1992. It is a psychological thriller that deals with the nature of a fragmented relationship in a very dark, atmospheric underworld. We are casting for five main principle parts. The shoot will last about 4 full days. Film should be about 18 to 20 minutes.

DANTE-male, 23-32 years old. Native Italian speaking but also able speak basic English. Basic German helps but not necessary. PLEASE HAVE A REEL as this will help with selection. He is the principal part. The young hero who loses the woman he came with and goes down deeper levels of the club (symbolic of hell) to find her. Generally a confident yet frustrated character. Would need Italian accent when speaking English.
BEATRICE, female, 23-32 years old. Native Italian speaking but also able speak basic English. Basic German helps but not necessary. PLEASE HAVE A REEL as this will help with selection. She is not really a nice person and appears to have some dark intentions and causes trouble to people around her. Would need Italian accent when speaking English.
VIRGIL, male, 26-38 years old. Preferable black hair and very dark eyes but not necessary. He is a important character who tricks and uses people to his own advantage. Appears trustworthy but very cunning and deceptive. Able to speak basic English and German but would need German accent when speaking English. PLEASE HAVE A REEL as this will help with selection.
FEDERICA-female, 26-38 years old. She is the female version of Virgil. She kidnaps Dante to force him to forget Beatrice. She is almost a permanent resident of hell and manipulates people to making them forget the past. She is very confident, clever and a powerful presence. Prefer red hair but not necessary. Able to speak basic English and German but would need German accent when speaking English. PLEASE HAVE A REEL as this will help with selection.
RUDOLPH-male, any age, but preferable between 28 to 55. He is basically the same as Lucifer. He owns the club the couple get lost in but he is the ultimate leader of the dark underworld. This character is unique because we don’t really get to see his face more so his body and his face is in dark shadows. He is supposed to be mysterious. He should be very tall and very slender. He is a mysterious yet charming villain. Able to speak basic English and German but would require German accent when speaking English. PLEASE HAVE A REEL AS THIS WILL HELP WITH SELECTION.
