What is the Baby Monitors Short Film about?
Baby monitors follows the story of the immediate aFermath of the Donald Trump & Volodymyr Zelensky phone call that led to Trump’s impeachment for his act of Quid Pro Quo. The action focuses on the high powers of the Whitehouse who knew he’d commiOed a wrongdoing and their subsequent rush to cover up his tracks.
Who we are looking for?
Character 1 – Alexander Vindman / Yevgeni Vindman
Two twins to be played by the same actor. We are looking for an older white male in his late 40’s to or 50’s. With short dark crew cut hair (or be prepared to cut his hair this way). Glasses will be provided for when playing the role of Alexander, but bonus if you have them. Average to slightly stocky build, while height is non-specific, though ideally non-extremes are beOer. Character 2 – John Eisenberg
We are looking for a middle age white male, with receding short dark greying hair (or who would be prepared to cut and colour their hair this way). Again if you have similar glasses to those in the picture, great, if not, no worries we can provide them. A taller lean gentleman is preferred though he will be si[ng at a desk, so this is not a deal breaker. This is a very short film with only a few lines max for each of the above characters. As such in addi8on to seasoned actors, we encourage amateur actors and even those with zero acting experience, if they feel they have a strong likeness to the real life character. Therefore if you know any friends or family (in particular dad’s or uncles) who might fit the look and would be interested in having a fun experience for which they would get paid a modest fee and fed lunch, then please forward this on.
Compensation / When / Where?
The shoot will last for just one day (up to 8 hours, though likely only 4) and you will be compensated $75 plus lunch. The tentative shoot date is Sat April 25th, though this is as yet unconfirmed, but will be definitely be on a weekend most likely towards the end of April / May in the Toronto region. We can be flexible, depending on availability, but all actors will need to be available at the same time.
