Today, A+E Studios and Telemundo Global Studios announced that Mexican actress Blanca Soto will star in the upcoming Spanish-language drama series, The Many Names of Aura.
The series follows the story of Aura, a young woman who is forced to confront her past and the secrets that have been kept from her. As she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, she discovers the many names she has been given throughout her life and the power of her true identity.
Soto, who is best known for her roles in Netflix’s You Cannot Hide and telenovela Señora Acero, will play the lead role of Aura.
The Many Names of Aura marks the first time that A+E Studios and Telemundo Global Studios have teamed up on a project. The series is currently in development and is expected to be released in 2021.
“We are thrilled to be working with Blanca Soto on this project,” said A+E Studios President, Barry Jossen. “She is an incredibly talented actress and we are confident that she will bring a unique and powerful perspective to the role of Aura.”
