General Hospital has tapped Nicole Paggi to temporarily replace Kirsten Storms as Maxie Jones.
Soap Opera Digest first reported the news of the casting switch, which will see Paggi take over the role for a few days while Storms is away.
Paggi is no stranger to the small screen. She is best known for her role as Sydney, Kelly Ripa’s niece and Faith Ford’s daughter, in the ABC comedy Hope & Faith.
The actress made her debut on General Hospital on Tuesday, April 6. She will be playing the role of Maxie Jones until Storms returns.
In a statement, General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini said, “We are thrilled to have Nicole join us for a few days. She is a talented actress and we are excited to have her on board.”
Paggi is the latest addition to the General Hospital cast, which includes stars such as Maurice Benard, Laura Wright, and Steve Burton.
