Casting a short ad for a nonprofit community-based maternal/perinatal healthcare provider that focuses on serving Black communities in Toronto. We are looking to cast five people. Details below!
Location: Toronto, ON – Downtown / Regent Park Area
Union Status: Non-Union
Compensation: $300/day for 1 day
Shoot Date: April 15th, 2023
Description: A young Black/mixed race pregnant person is at an appointment with a Doctor. With help from a Warrior (meant to represent the organization’s brand), she gets access to help from a Midwife and Doula as well.
Roles:
Warrior: Black woman; ideally tall with short hair
Young Mother: Black or multiracial woman; 25 – 35
Doctor: Caucasian person; 30+
Midwife: Racialized person; 30+
Doula: Racialized person; 25+
