Jigsaw Casting is seeking transgender individuals between the ages of 17 and 27 for a White Ribbon Public Service Announcement in Toronto. We are looking for two roles:
1) Transgender Woman (AMAB) Age 17 to 27. (Role of ‘Vivian’)
2) Transgender Man (AFAB) Age 17 to 27. (Role of ‘Marcus’)
The talent will be required to show a range of authentic emotions, such as tender friendship moments, partying with friends, fighting with parents, celebrating with friends, and dancing. If talent has any real friends they would like to audition with, we would love to see them apply together. Friends can be ages 17 to 27 and will be paid the same as talent. Friends can be either cis female or cis male, non binary, queer or straight.
Compensation is based on a per person rate. If selected, talent will receive a $75.00 wardrobe call and a $750.00 session fee per day (shooting x 3 days). The deadline to submit is September 19, 2023 at 10am EDT.
Talent must be available for the following dates in Toronto:
– Recalls in Studio: Sunday Sept 24, 2023.
– Wardrobe: Oct 1 or 2, 2023.
– Shoot Date: Oct 4, 5 and 6, 2023.
