We are looking for talent for an upcoming music video for an up-and-coming artpop band from the UK. This is a great opportunity for character-based performance.
The following roles are available:
Businessman:
– Ages 30-45
– Any ethnicity
– On a night out celebrating a big account win, you’re ready to call it a night and head home. Your coworker refuses. He insists you have one more beer”, a small argument breaks out. You walk off, leaving your drunk colleague alone.
Drunk Businessman:
– Ages 30-50
– Any ethnicity
– Celebrating a big corporate victory with a colleague. You want to keep the night going but your colleague wants to head home and you can’t understand why. Stick around Party He leaves you to polish off the sake alone.
Two Teenagers/Young Adults:
– Any ethnicity
– Ages 15-25
– Dine and dashers who split on a bill. Let us see you wordlessly conspire with your friend. You both know that you’re not going to pay for all the food you ate. Allow us to watch you slink away from the table, avoiding eye contact and detection.
Young Couple:
– Any ethnicity
– Ages 20-30
– On a first date. Completely unengaged with one another. Mostly just taking turns scrolling through your phones. Maybe this is interrupted by a brief moment of attraction/passion before returning to Instagram.
Additional Customers:
– Any ethnicity
– Ages 18-50
Sushi Chef:
– Male
– Aged 25-45
– Japanese – East Asian
– Job was your passion once upon a time, but it isn’t anymore. You feel very stuck in your routine, which is reflected in your work. It’s as if you’re on autopilot. Each day is the same and your tasks feel more like muscle memory.
