STORY: Two men- Dane and Wayne – are trapped in the stall of a bar restroom. Wayne wants to get back to drinking so he can forget his back pain. Dane wants to locate his hat. Both want to get out. But when an argument about the exact usage of hats ensues, it escalates rather quickly into a fight about…something else entirely.

The plan is to produce the play this summer and submit to experimental and fringe theater festivals in the fall. This is an audio play (formerly called radio plays) which can be recorded remotely by both actors and mixed by myself (in Chicago). Should be completed by early September.
I am looking for voice actors who are familiar with plays by the likes of Samuel Beckett, Edward Albee and Harold Pinter– familiarity with their work will give you a sense of the tone of this piece. Previous experience in audio theater is a plus, but not required. Previous voice acting experience is required.
$100 stipend for a MAXIMUM of two days of work.
Only casting for the part of Dane (Wayne has been filled). Please fit the general character description above, or have a young-sounding voice.
