We are looking for a female host to join an exciting new web series being produced in Vancouver. The show will involve discussion about a highly reputable and successful project that has a passionate fan-base around the world. The host will use the show to engage with the fandom, interview guests and possibly cast, and have interesting conversations about the project, all while entertaining the global audience with their charismatic personality.
Each episode will run for around 30 minutes and will be uploaded to all platforms online, such as YouTube, Spotify, Tik Tok and Instagram.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
• Natural on-screen presence and comfort in front of the camera
• Confidence to interview guests and engage in conversation regarding the subject matter
• Enthusiasm about the project being discussed (to be disclosed at a further date)
• Ability to bring their own personal spin to the show by showing their fun and entertaining personality
• Flexibility to travel for on-location shoots as required
This project would particularly love to represent the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Filming will take place in a studio in downtown Vancouver and applicants must be based in Vancouver. Tentative dates of filming are October/November 2023, with a prep session in advance. The rate for the role is to be determined.
