We are seeking performers of Filipino descent. Must have experience both singing and acting on camera. Auditions will take place on October 4+5 by invitation.

LEAD ROLES:
ADULT MARIA: female, Filipino descent, 25-40, vocal range (B3 to F#5)
Maria is a successful working professional who has a strained relationship with her mother. After her mother passes away, she has deep regrets about this.
GLORIA: female, Filipino descent, 35+, vocal range (F#3 to D5)
Gloria is a mother who has deep regrets about leaving her daughter at a young age. This role will require a diverse actor who can play the same individual over the span of 30 years.
NON-SPEAKING ROLES:
YOUNG MARIA: female, Filipino descent, actor age: 10-16 (character age: 8-12)
Young Maria is a happy child who wakes up one morning and discovers her mother has left their family.
ARTURO: male, Filipino descent, 35+
Arturo is Gloria’s husband and Maria’s father. He is the glue that holds Maria together after her mother leaves. Visually able to display a gamut of emotions. His interactions with his daughter give her hope for a better future.
