The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute has announced the appointment of Dana Theodoratos as its new Head of Talent. Theodoratos brings with her over 20 years of experience in the television industry, most recently as Executive Vice President of Talent at the CW and its predecessor UPN.
In her new role, Theodoratos will be responsible for transitioning the Institute’s students to becoming professional actors in film and television. She will be working closely with the Institute’s faculty and staff to develop and implement a comprehensive program to prepare students for the entertainment industry.
Theodoratos has a long history of success in the television industry. She began her career at UPN in 1999, where she was responsible for casting shows such as “Girlfriends” and “Everybody Hates Chris.” She then moved to the CW in 2006, where she was responsible for casting shows such as “The Vampire Diaries,” “Supernatural,” and “Riverdale.”
