A local non-profit organization supporting youth at risk is casting Indigenous actors for a public service announcement (PSA). The roles include a female electrician (30-40), a male business owner (30-40), a chef (18-25, open gender), and a claim supports assistant (18-25, open gender), all of whom are success stories from the organization's program. Auditions will be held online, and the submission deadline is March 8, 2023. The selected actors will be paid $150 per day along with individual footage. CASTING DETAILS:
– The Electrician (30-40, Female, Indigenous): One of the earlier alumni of the organization, who found a fulfilling and stable long-term career in the electrical field thanks to the program.
– The Business Owner (30-40, Male, Indigenous): An early member of the program, who used his entrepreneurial spirit to start his own company and supports the organization by providing training and job opportunities to more indigenous youth.
– The Chef (18-25, Open Gender, Indigenous): A recent member of the program, turned their passion for cooking into a stable career. Must have experience in cooking.
– Claim Supports Assistant (18-25, Open Gender, Indigenous): A recent graduate of the program, who found a good paying, stable career in customer service, and is looking forward to years of growth.
